A few years ago, the idea of integrating Internet capability, a camera and a video and audio player into a single compact device based on a cell phone was very appealing but hard, if not impossible to imagine. Now, there’s Apple’s iPhone and any number of competing devices that made that possibility an affordable, common reality. Converging different technologies into one single product is not confined to consumer and entertainment products anymore, either. Various industries, and in particular the pharmaceutical and medical device segments, are finding innovative means to deliver multi-functional healthcare products. It is a trend that has been developing for a few years now, and the stage is set for solid growth.

A biometric passport is a combination of a paper and electronic identity document that used to authenticate the citizenship of travelers. The biometric passport is valid for 5 years for first time applicants, compared to 10 years passports without biometric features. The biometric passport is planned to have digital imaging and fingerprint biometrics placed on the radio frequency identification chip. It seems like the world is going wireless these days, including the banking and trading industries. Wireless banking and trading is still in its infancy stage, and one must keep up with new products, new technological breakthroughs, and developmental aids to help with transitions from the old to the new. All these changes reveal risks to systems and consumers. Wireless banking and trading can be risky, lengthy, and complicated to develop and use. Netscape is Better than Digg
..or, at least in my opinion it is.As the new version of Netscape is just over a year old now, it seemed like a good time to fairly compare Netscape and Digg, the 2 most popular social news media sites. Pronet did a good job going over the basics of Netscape, as they did for Digg as well.
By the Stats
Digging further into the details - yes - Alexa, Compete, and anyone else that covers stats clearly shows Digg as the winner. As of 7/19/07, Alexa ranks Digg as 95 versus Netscape’s 569 ranking.
But wait…what about Page Rank?
